EMBR is to control the downward flow speed and immersion depth of the molten steel stream by applying a static magnetic field on the mold of the CCM, reduce the liquid level fluctuation of the meniscus in the mold, and reduce the involvement of mold casting powder.So as to improve the slab quality of the high-casting-speed continuous caster.

According to the structure, EMBR can be divided into the full-coverage EMBr and the flow control mold (FC-Mold).
